Will the comments on other blogs increase PageRank?

I'm leaving valuable comments on other related blogs. Will this increase my pagerank? Or is there anything other thing than this to do to boost my pagerank? I'm new to SEO please suggest me some tips.

You got the point. By default comments on wordpress blogs have the nofollow tag to the links. There are some blogs that don't use plugins to remove the nofollow tag. Yet, if it won't effect on PR doesn't mean that links from comments on blog post are without any value.

 

mostly high traffic and popular blog use no follow tags, i dont know why but they do. comment only on relevant and new blogs

i dont think that will help your seo because most of the blogs are using nofollow on their links to stop comment spam

 

Most of them thought that putting the comments in the blog will drive traffic to their blogs/sites.

But its not much true .Because Most of the blogs are uses the nofollow in their links.So these links are not crawled by search engines.


These links present in the comment element of the blogs are not considered as an valid back links.Back links are the main backbone for increasing the traffic linking.


But the links present in the comment elements are navigated to the commented member pages But its not crawlable So this will not drive long term traffic.


Whenever u adding the links in the comments check for the properties of link.Whether it is crawlable or not.
