That's a great result! I've been thinking that my problem may stem from the fact that, instead of simply deleting the old content and restarting the site from the ground up I've simply begun posting new material on the homepage. Maybe Google doesn't recognise this as enough fresh content to bother updating. Still, it does seem like there's a serious problem that needs fixing if I'm gonna take advantage of the Page Rank :(

Seem to have a continuity error here. My response to ahkip comes before the question :) Here ya go:

Yep. It was a simple trade, really. I assume that it would be against the TOS to actually sell on a Blogspot blog for profit since the site is owned by Google. I simply asked the previous owner if I could have the site since he wasn't using it, and he was a nice guy and gave it to me for free. In gratitude I bought him a couple of CDs from his Amazon wishlist that came to a value of around $60 plus postage. Not a bad deal, if I do say so myself :)

Just returned from a seminar conducted by Google, and Google stated that age does not matter per se. The older the site, the more likely it will have more quality backlinks and content, but age by itself is not part of the algorhythm.
