I am having the most trouble installing Analytics....It keeps telling me that they cant track the code or something like that....does anyone know where this code is to go?...i only want to track the home page?
It's a really a easy step,,... first of taking a tracking code from google anlaytics... secondly put google analytics code into your all website pages before the </body> tag...
have the 24 hours gone over yet? google spider take some time to check on the script. if the 24 hours are over, just check the main file and ad the code just before the </body> tag. if you have a php site ad it to the main file and that should be it.
maybe my question is similar, but what if indexnya in the form of php?...... I was forced to enter into it, but could not get .... whether to change it at first so I could enter the code, I'm so confused..... please help me..... Free Paper Just for you paper-question.co.cc
create account with your gmail id or other, after creating account add your website for which u want tracking code. after purting websites and doing some procedure you will get generated code, put this code before </body> on every pages
Put the code in the footer of your site before the closing body tag. It would be nice to see the template of your site though.
Okay what is this now? Some people said to add code on Index, and some to all of our webpages... What is the best? Also what about Blogs?
If you have a template system, such as one page including your entire content or every page including a global configuration file etc, simply place the code in there. You do need the code on all your pages in some way or other, in order to have it work in tracking all your pages. Otherwise you would just track your homepage, which isn't always useful because people visit your website from different pages, not always visiting your homepage first.
get track code and put it in index file of your home page section, after 24 hour you'll get approved by google analytics for know your site traffic status...
