    I think we should only pay sales tax only as well. Most sales taxes if you look at it as a percentage it is actually over 6% on average, so its not that small when you look at it as a percentage rather than an amount when you buy chewing gum. Some states don't even have a sales tax (Alaska, Oregon, Delaware, Montana, N Hampshire )
