Will selling hotmail accounts ever be a trend?

    I would be interested to know if there is some kind of market around for this sort of thing?

    For Hotmail accounts? I don't think so.

    Maybe at some point for GMail accounts, but not Hotmail.

    Well I don't think so.. No one will want spams coming from the first day itself... Besides you won't know what that email IS has been used for before. (May be illegal activities). Besides, it won't matter much even if your ID is hard to rem as you won't need any TRAFFIC for that.. Would you ;)

    I don't see the attractiveness of having , I can only imagine the nightmare of spams looking for you for having such a common alias.

    I have seen a few hotmail accounts sold but it is far from a trend. I recall someone on here trying to sell some popular names a while back but I think he got flamed pretty bad.

    I think people may go in for catchy (passion for fashion) ids in gmail rather than hotmail because of its popularity...
