Will search engines display parked domains?

I have a website and while thinking of other names I came up with one better than the one I have currently on the site. I purchased the name and it is now parked on the site. Will the search engines display my parked domains? Is there a way to optimize the parked domain

Yes , just do a quick test..
Go to tdnam(DOT)com and find a domain with "verified" traffic..
    Search for it..
Its a parked domain and is in Google! :)

    Best of Luck!

what do you mean by "main domain"?

all domains are unique and are seen as separate entities.

I am sorry. I have a website called let's say x22.com. I find that x33.com gets more search queries. So I buy x33.com and park it on x22.com so when people enter x33.com they are redirected to x22.com. So my question is will x33.com be indexed and can it be optomized while still being parked.

If a domain is being redirected then it wont be getting indexed...
x33.com could be indexed with x22.com content depending on how you have the redirect ( Permananent or otherwise..)

Some other Guru might assist on type of redirects , am not 100%

if you are redirecting it and plan to set up a site on it later you would be better using a 302 redirect (temporary redirect). x33.com won't be indexed at all because as far as google is concerned it has been moved to x22.com
