After the Isam and Judaism taking over the world threads, I thought an alternative might be nice. Does anyone out there think that religous tolerance will be take over anytime in the near future? At this point it is looking more and more like some dream of eutopia that we are not going to reach.
yes of course when the whole world become Muslim, with the current growth rate it will take umm, like 5 years, 7 months, and 18 days, 4 hours and 47 minutes 23 seconds to be exact ok do I have to say I was j/k? I hope so WebdevHowto
btw, its good to remind myself, and others, specially who pick from Quran and Hadtih without really knowing the meanings, or the context, with these beautiful verses in Quran, about tolerance: "Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians -- whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor shall they grieve" (2:62). “God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from dealing kindly and justly with them. Indeed, God loves those who act justly. God only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – (forbids) that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.â€(Quran 60:8-9) and in Hadith: the Prophet stated: “Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, curtails their rights, burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.†(Abu Dawud) and many others which I never seen them quoted by non-Muslims, why? anyway, peace to all.
