If for instance I have a site called www.abc.com which is supposed to be a pure web directory and I installed a directory script in www.abc.com/directory instead of the root folder, if I redirect this www.abc.com to www.abc.com/directory, does it affect my SEO in any way and how? presently there is nothing in www.abc.com but I have the directory which is suposed to be my home page in www.abc.com/directory If there will be effect, the extent of the effect will determine whether I will start the script installation all over again. what wil I do?
