Hello everyone, I have a website with let's say mydomain.com and have heavy traffic on that website and Google sends me daily traffic of 1000 from it's search engine. It's ranked under 30,000 Alexa Traffic Ranking websites too! The problem is that Google have banned to display Google Adsense ads due to some copyright problem in past so now I have changed the things on my site and want to forward that site on mydomain.net so will the search engine ranking be affected? Will there be any kind of negative affects in Google search engine ranking because I want Google Adsense ads on my site as well as don't want to drop the traffic what Google sends me daily which is over 1K! Your suggestions are welcome. Please feel free to tell in detail Thank you, AbdulBasit Makrani
Forwarding one website to another will definitively affect rankings. If you are forwarding this site to another one just because of adsense...then I would better read some more about adsense and see if they ban a website or an account (i.e. a person). In either case, it will affect rankings.
FunWadi- It is gonna affect SERPS. Why do that for adsense? Won't they just ban the next domain as well? Eric
Hmmm.. Thanks for giving great tips/suggestions. Once again thank you very much I understood now and will not redirect/forward to .net of that .com domain.
If you are looking for ways to monetize your site, since you cannot use Google AdSense, audio ads may help you out. PM me if you would like more info.
if you forward to the a domain you will certainly take a hit in the ranking in the near term. long term - like 9 months out - you may be back close to your original levels depending on your niche and competition. best bet is to monetize your .com site in some other way, like adbrite, yahoo, kontera or even affiliate related like azoogle or commission junction.
Vanshake is right, don't depend on Google adsense only... And SERP is the main. I believe in Traffic = Business.
You are right casinouk. I agree with you all guys. It's good to have some nice suggestion from you guys or I was going to ruin everything.
i am sure it will affect..or again will get banned better make a new one whil you still have your adsense account..
why dont you try affiliate advertising (depending on the niche, with that much of traffic i guess you will succeed)
Yes try with affiliate advertising and coolcode007 is right you will succeed. otherwise you get banned anyway best of luck for your site, be careful........
Thanks for the suggestion. I have space on my site through which I can promote anything but my users which are over 45,000 registered users but they aren't interested in buying anything. They just come to download/leech/post on my forum so can you give some suggestion by taking this into mind what can be placed on my site so that can give me some good earning as replacement of Google Adsense
