Will posting a sex toy review get me banned from adsense?

Actually it is not even a review, more of an unique information on how to get a discounted prive for the product OhMiBod - the vibrator that vibrates at your iPod rhythm :)

So I want to post it to my blogspot blog which, of course, contains google adsense.

    Will that get me banned?

If there are some regulations, how far should I go?

Can I post pictures, videos from youtube maybe? Or only text? Or maybe nothing :)

Just dont post pictures near the ads. That has been made against the TOS by google. Read their blog/forums. Enjoy.

that's very close to the edge and i doubt adsense will accept it. Your best bet would be to send them an email.

No, they will not respond so what does it matter? Your best bet is to simply not do the review...there are plenty of other gadgets to review...

G won't ban you like that. They might simply ban your website, allowing you to put adsense on other websites. You should remember though that writing sex-related reviews might earn you less revenue, as Adsense doesn't serve adult ads.

no, I'm not talking about starting a blog of that niche, I just wanted to share some unique info I have found out about an adult toy product, its not even a full review, but more of a useful info that will help somebody :)

I want to write that at my blog at blogspot which is more about ..well like everything. I only write miscellaneous stuff there which I don't know where else to publish.

So the stuff I want to publish has something to do with the OhMiBod (google that) It is like a few sentences, but since it is so important I wanted to make more of it, and write like a review or something, so I was asking you guys if that is against the tos of adsense, and if not, how far can I go with the review, pictures, movies or only text?

A dildo isn't sexually explicit in itself, but I think Adsense would have more of a problem with the way you word the article than anything else. Just don't use images of women (or men!) using it and you should be safe. Although my best advise - if you think it's borderline, don't risk it.

Yeah. As everyone advised, dont cross borders. You never know when google might ban for watever reason they like. They dont even inform you about it. It all depends on luck. Because there are few porn sites serving google ads since months but haven't been banned. So dunno what G is upto.

I am almost certain that your review will be fine. I thought it was amusing earlier today when I used the word "porno" in a post title, and Google just serves the standard charity ad: http://www.chaunt.com/robot-porno/

I also think Adsense doesn't serve adult ads as mentioned above, there might be an issue on your website.

Why not look for affiliate programs with Adult oriented websites like Adult Friend Finder and others? I think there's an Adult Toystore online called Adam and Eve. You more likely to make better money with those types of ads than placing AdSense ads in your review. That way you're more likely to target the audience reading your review.

Its not worth risking your account doing something like that. It won't give you much extra traffic. And its really not worth it.

I keep AdSense ads off any of my sites/pages that I think may be considered uncool by the Google Gods. That includes any sort of sex toy, sex enhancement and so on... I'm not sure if it'll get you banned or not, but I wouldn't risk it.

Yeah, I would just drop the idea. First of all...the product is pretty strange man lol. Secondly, you are wanting to write just a small review of the product...that in the end won't bring much in. So why even bother? As someone said above, even if you don't get banned...adsense will not be supplying targeted ads because of it. It seems like a lose/lose situation to me.
