Hi there, my name is Denis and i'd like to ask you guys a question.
If i made a video upload website, from where you can emblem your videos, would people use it? Does it really need lots of advertising or do people need more websites where they can upload videos and emblem for free?
If you have any tips regarding this i'd really appriciate it. Thank you.:)

I will advice you to focus on a niche site like comedy, sport, music videos. Nobody can predict if your business model will succeed unless you try it first. Goodluck

It is really hard to tell if the business will work out well. You will have to put a lot of time and effort into it. If you control the languages HTML5 CSS3, PHP, Javascript and Jquery very well, than you could give it a shot. If you need to hire a developer for this, you would need a big budget (5 digit number, at least).

Systems like wordpress, Drupal and such are also worth a shot, even though a completely custom website would give you the best chances of succeeding. Next to the development there is also the advertisement. To get a good start you will also need to have a pretty big budget for that (4 digits at least).

First things first; clear your mind on what you want and set up a business plan.

    Hope this helps...

First thing someone will care is how long the site will last. There are may YouTube clones which shutdown due to lesser success with their project. So the links you shared are gone. Another thing you need to find is that whether you can compete with YouTube ? Offer something that other can't. It is also better to use it as vlogging platform, allowing sub domains to users for their on vlog.
