Will paypal do This Forever????

    hi dear all
    paypal is ignoring many countries like egypt, pakistan and some other countries. is there any legal problems, Policy or something else with paypal. and will it be forever or there is any hope that paypal will add these countries sooner or letter?

    AFAIk,PP don't support those country due to many reason such as the government rules intervention.

    These countires does not co-operate with International regulations to actively participate in preventing money laundering. THats why! I thought everyone knew that.. Paypal cant prosecute anyone from these countries who ix invlolved in money-laundering because no jurisdiction available.

    Give them a call... if you are looking for a payment gateway to sell products then there are dozens of other services available, no need to rely on PayPal.

    There is always a hope. Malaysia is one of the county that Paypal don't accept before but now we can register the account without any problem. It's just a matter of time.

    The reason for Paypal not supporting these countries is not in public domain and we all would be making guesses here.

    I think Paypal has either been not able to comply with this country-specific regulations or Paypal find it hard to adjust their network as per the resp. countries' banking style!

    I have contacted paypal for several times that why paypal is not available in pakistan, I always get oen of the two replies:

    1) We will expand our network soon to pakistan.

    2) The banking rules and regulations makes it harder for paypal to allow pakistan.

    I too contacted to paypal and they replied me that governmental banking policies are the big hurdles to expand their network in pakistan. Pakistan Government and Banks should take some mutual steps in this regard and make things easy for paypal.

    Well other companies like Moneybookers, Alertpay, Webmoney, 2CO are working fine in those countries under the Same Government and Same Policies. and they are working fine.
