Hi, I will happily pay $50 to the first person to find and fix an html / css bug in my website when viewed in safari. You do NOT need a mac to do this as you can download the safari browser here: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ My website is http://www.askmefast.com The problem is easy to see. The footer shows up in my list of questions. To get the $50 you need to be the first to post the problem and the edits / fix required. I will put the fix in and if it works I will paypal you $50 immediately. PS. This goes without saying but I will say it anyway. The fix must not break the page in any of the other popular browsers like IE, firefox, opera, etc. Thanks, Doug
Try removing the valign=top and nowrap tags. That doesn't seem to break compatibility in Firefox (under firebug) and I bet thats whats getting Safari to move the footer all the way to the top.
Tried that - no dice. Let me be clear. If you want the $50 you need to give me the fix that you have already tried yourself and verified that it works. You will probably want to save a static copy of the web page to your local HD and then play with it to find and fix the problem. Then give me the edit that fixed the problem and I will send you the $50 via paypal. Thanks, Doug
skystudio is the first to show me a static version of my site working properly. I haven't seen the details yet but I think he has won it. Waiting on edits from him to make sure its a proper fix.
