    Hi,

Someone hacked into my webserver and left malicious files. google picked it up even before i could act and is now blockng my website and says "reported site"

I have cleaned all the files and submitted a reconsideration request to google. however im worried abt the search engine rankings & pagerank of the site. will they stay the same or will they be removed alltogether?

Has the Pagerank been removed? If so i would think it would be restored.

Even if these rankings are removed.. it would be temporary and you would see the restoration as soon as google picks up your cleaning effort! :)

I had a site that lost the pr, it was never returned. but then again it may have been lost due to the next pagerank update. however, you would lose that pr for that quarter.

Logically, if penalized by Google, PR may reduce or gone, but perhaps not totally de-indexed by google.

It will come back of course. :) Your website will not be penalized just because of iFrame malware infection, which is a pretty common issue from their perspective. As long as your contents and links are exists, the ranking will be the same as well.

Make proofs about your website hacked and show them to Google people.

Your website will lost pagerank for that quarter, and will go back afterthat ofcourse.
