Will page rank transfer also to my new domain?

I have a blogspot domain and this blog rank to PR2 and I am planning to buy a new domain. My question is: Will page rank transfer also to my new domain?

 

I'm not sure, but as far as i know it does NOT. But would love to hear from a web professional.
For some time you can use redirection and later change the dns. Just my idea.
I too have got the same question once, but never thought of much 'cos i never had a PR blog

 

I did a page rank transfer before for 1 of my website to the new domain, by using 301 redirect in htaccess . But i doubt in blogspot, you can put your own htaccess or the redirection to another page.

 

If you do the 301 redirect correctly everything should transfer the new domain name but for page rank you need to wait for the next update.

If you transfer from blogspot to your domain name, PR will update automatically. Don't worry

Yes it will transfer as long as you keep your blog updated with new content everyday.
But the PR transfer will not take place instantly.
It will take month if you're lucky.

hi im a filipino to..is it true that pagerank will also transfer if you transfer your blogspot to a hosted and owned domain??

 

Im also not sure the pank rank will transfer, but if you point your new domain name to your website, and the website gets traffic, it wont be long before th page rank goes up.
