I've been wanting to get my Paypal Account verified but am having a problem. I have an SBI account and its Yuva card seemed to have worked till Dec 16th 09 but i believe now even that can't be used. 1) Is there any bank in India whose 'Debit Card' will let me verify my Paypal account? 2) Do 'Credit Cards' from all banks in India work for verification? Thanks in Advance
Dear sydzapp, 1) Paypal never accepted any Debit Cards from India as it's against RBI regulations. But few Debit Cards including Yuva Card somehow bypassed this restriction but now that all banks have implemented Verified by Visa and Master Card Secure Code. It's completely forbidden. Even the Virtual Credit Cards don't work now. 2) Credit cards from all the banks over the country works in Paypal for now, until they plan to implement Verified by Visa and Master Card Secure Code which the RBI is planning very soon. Get yourself a Credit Card as soon as possible, there are many schemes from HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, or you can go for NETELLER. Regards
Well, Debit cards work but you won't be able to get the statement of your card which contains the EXPUSE in order to complete the verification process of PP. - Mr.President -
