Will my site get penalized for this?

I bought 25 incoming links last month and do not want to extend those links. Will I get penalized by Google for this?

    Thx!

Buying links to up your pagerank or to whore the SERPs could get you in trouble if they found out at least that's what I get from all the things I've read, but not wanting to extend your deal with the people who you bought the links from... why would Google care?

Forgot to say that most of those links are either PR 0 or 1 .

If the links are of poor quality, it won't really matter.

In general, I would suggest only going after permanent links. Like blog posts, or (some signatures)

If you want to rent links out on a monthly basis, rent them out per click on the SERPs

No 25 links is nothing, as long as those linking sites are not interconnected (it a link farm connecting to each other), but seriously if they ae below PR 3 you are wasting your time, go get some PR 4 and aboves to boost your site.

Link buying is not an approved practice.. But it is not easy for Google to figure out you bough those links..

    Thanks

Slow steady relevance would do you better than PR 0 or PR 1...plus, there are many free approved practices!
