Is there a way to tell if my site will ultimately have like 2000 - 3000 impressions a day? Right now I am #2 for my main keyword and I get like 150 impressions a day and get 12 -15 Adsense clicks (average of $0.25 a click). My site is being found by a total of 180 different keywords with my main keyword accounting for 16%. The next 5 keywords represent, 12%, 9%, 8%, 7%, 6%, and rest are like 1-2%. Wordtracker estimates about 50 searches a day for main keyword and about 90 across the 3 main search engines. The top 5 keywords have a combined average of 150 searches a day. I have submitted to article directories, add my site to other directories, and post on many blogs with my keyword. What else can I do to build up the number of daily impressions? Do I go after the next highly searched keywords and optimize for them? What would be the best way to optimize for the other highly searched keywords that people are finding my site? Is there a certain cap of impressions with certain niches or is there something I can do to get it to those high impressions?
build a strong foundation of your current keywords then target another keywords..... just like in military situation.....build fortification to defend your current territory then expand to occupy other territories (a.k.a. keywords) strong fortification can be gained by building lots of hi quality backlinks with your keyword as anchor and you can be sure you are safe for short-medium term period.
