Yes, your site is eligible. Don't worry and go ahead.

Yes, there's no reason why you can't.

It really comes down to what keywords you target as you will need a decent quality score to reduce your costs

No, you won't get accepted, you have ads on your website. The adwords account will get banned if you submit a campaign. May I know why you want to drive traffic to a such site? You are not offering any services or products.

well, thanks for both the positive and negative reply... and cucumba... its not necessary that we have to go for google adwords only whn dealing with servies or products since i know lot of people who drive 50,000 + traffic to their movie site and earn from google adwords as google adwords will give you links related to your site and people tend to check it out..

It depends on the nature of the competing adverts, google AdWords only exclude certain types, and the ratio of content to adverts
Most of my websites have several different advertisers on them and there has never been any issue

I'd be careful, he has a lot of ads and he does not seem to be selling anything.

I don't think so Google Adwords will ban any site which is showing ads. The concept is if you have created a website solely for ads, then Google might ban you. However, if you are giving information and showing ads, then there is no problem.
