Will my ranking come back?

    Recently I made changes to my homepage, added some more text not in a spammy way but with sentences that included my keyword, a day later I lost my ranking for it and all my other rankings with the keyword in it fell to page 10 or so and the main one went completely.

    I went back to the way it was but my rankings didn't come back, this happened to anyone else and did their rankings come back? It is stressing me out cause this is my and my families income and I really need it to come back.

    I think that you need to make some efforts for that. I believe that will not return to the same possitions without any effort

    Yes, this is the common if you change your old content so there is chance to lost your ranking because your new content/keywords need to be indexed and back link, if you need your ranking back you need to do handwork create back link as much possible

    I have not changed my keywords, I just added some extra text with the same keyword into the index, but I guess I over done it but have gone back to the old index now when my rankings were good.
