    will my paypal account be blocked if the names on my bank and paypal acc. dont match? will i still be able to transfer and receive funds from my paypal acc? help needed asap.

    Why don' t you go to PayPal and look at their FAQ or send them an email asking this? That way you will be guaranteed that the answer is right.

    You can't withdraw funds from your paypal account to your bank account due to this.

    no its not blocked. it considered as error and withdrawal will be cancelled charging some 250 INR ;)

    If the names on the two accounts do not match up... you will not be able to carry out any transaction between the two. But it will surely not result in any blocking of the account!
    At worse... you will get a failed transaction with a charge for the same!

    Never ran into this problem. When you add a bank account is asks you what name is on the account. Put the right name and you will not have a problem. I have 2 different bank accounts added with one not being in my name. No problem transferring money to it.

    You can withdraw funds from paypal. Try to get same names in paypal & bank account.
