I have encrypted document where is hiding my idea. What I am going to do is to record that document with my digital camera and put it inside short video and upload that video on YouTube.

That will be my security so I can later say I was first person with that idea. If anybody will appear first with that idea and say he was first guy who has found it, I can show a key of that encrypted document to everybody and everybody can see that I was really the first one because they can see the date when that document was uploaded.

What I am wondering is how secure can be that video will stay on YouTube. Do you think is any change video will be removed?

    Thanks

Being the first person with an idea doesn't mean it's yours. I'm not sure of what your idea is, but in patent law, it's the first to file - not the first to come up with it.

In trademark law, the mark has to be in use, not just an idea.

If you think your idea is worth protecting, see an intellectual property rights attorney. Trying to use YouTube sounds like a very bad idea.

I believe that Youtube is now more proactive is shutting down contents and if what you have is confidential or against their policy, it may be removed.
