I recently made a squidoo lens with a 1,000 words and three link backs to my site, then I favorited it on many social bookmarking sites. From what I understand, these lenses get a PR of their own within a few months time and transfer that PR to your site. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to have more than 1 squidoo lens for the same site. Will the benefits stack or should you focus on different sites?
Squidoo is thought to be a high authority in Googles eyes, but make sure you use different keywords for your lens if you are targeting the same site. Like all websites, you will have to built links back to it, what I find usefull is if after your lens is published, you write an article and sibmit it to ezinearticles with 2 links in your bio back to the lens page using 2 different keywords - then get the RSS of the lens and your author page and ping the feeds to as many rss feed agregators as possible resulting in many backlinks.
if you want to make multiple squidoo lens then use different keywords and unique artilces on that lenses. it is also preferable that you concentrate on only 1 squidoo lens and promote it. Maintaining multiple squidoo lens need more efforts.
Of course. Much like having multiple posts here on DP. The second and third may not be quite as valuable as the first because they come from the same IP...but well worth the time and effort. I'd spend some time making other Web 2.0 properties as well. Hubpages is a nice alternative to Squidoo.
Of course making as much lenses as possible is your better option.Don't forget to fill in your profile links and if you want you can promote it.I did't promote my profile at Squidoo and after some time it still got indexed by G.As the other members of DP mention above you shoud bookmark and do some comenting in order to make backlinks to your lenses and pass the link juise to your site.What is your profile at Squidoo.We can be friends there and help each other Have fun.
