I'm running various AdGroups targetting different clients and ultimately offering the same product. I'm just wondering if Google will slap me for using a modified version of the same landing page. I have just modified the keywords in each landing page to make each page more relevant. I have been told to just put nofollow on my pages and that way I won't get slapped? My questions are: 1. Will I get slapped for doing this? 2. Is there a solution? 3. Won't nofollow kill my page relevance as now Google can't see through my links and how would this possibly help my problem - if i even have one? FYI, I have no links anywhere on my webpage leading to these landing pages (if you needed to know?).
Why NoFollow? All FOLLOW does is venture through the links to other pages. If you are worried about duplicate content for the natural search listings, it's NOINDEX you want. This will mean Google won't index it. Even so - I'm not convinced this is anything to do with Google Adwords - only relevant to the natural listings. I think your only real chance of being 'slapped' is if Google manually check your pages and take a dislike to it.
My experience is that this is not a problem, and is very common. The nofollow is a non issue unless I'm misunderstanding something.
