Will "megaa" work in place of "mega"

I try to go only for .com domains even if there are somewhat good ones in other domains... I really like a domain megaxxx.com (assume some noun in xxx) -- right now taken by someone, unused and probably will quote 5 digit at the least. I was wondering, should I go ahead and book megaaxxx (with an extra 'a') --- will it work? can I sustain the growth? What if the mega owner utilizes our publicity if it grows? Or is it really a bad idea?

    Thanks!

I am not exactly keen on that domain style. I think you could hold your own with it for awhile. It is essentially a typo.com which means it will not be the best. You will make it 75%, better off with a whole name or unique identifier. I still think your concept is headed in the right direction. Good luck.
