No because everyone is obsessed with Google being the best even though it churns out thousands of useless results. Id o find myself using Live more because of the built-in search box in IE7.

I agree with swift. Ity would be difficult for them to ever get that market share back. Although in the net world you never say never :)

While "Google" has become sort of a household name and an alternative name for "search", I have yet to find another person in my social circle who knows what Live.com is about.... so it looks like a really really steep uphill climb for MS.

Some experts said that MSN will overtake Google in the next 5 years.

The reason is that with every PC installed, there's an IE. With every IE, the default homepage will be MSN.

Not everyone is search engine savvy, so MSN tends to grab market share in this manner.

But I think MSN was there in IE since long time back. Still not much impact on Google :) Almost everyone, whether he has a PC or not, knows about google as a search engine :)

    IMO.,
live.com should make its query url simple like: live.com/search?q=Digital point
The page load time should be faster and the design should be simple

So far what i think from their {Microsoft} behavior is that they just want to keep their presence on internet .. and they know they cannot do anything good.
