Will Link building have same importance???

Yes, I think link building has the importance in SEO because it helps to get quality backlinks for our site which helps in ranking....

 

no body can predict exactly about the future

however, link building is in place from ages and i think its not going to loose its importance in the coming days as well

high PR sites linking back to your site simply shows the importance of your site and Google just can't ignore this factor

I've been exploring SEO for the company I work for and improvements in content have resulted in top-10 search results for the vast majority of our targeted search terms through simple, organic SEO. However, our page rank is definitely weak and I'm leaning towards this being due somewhat to the lower quality of many of the pages that link to us.

I think the bottom line is that you have to work toward the demographic of your product. Sell to the market you're aiming at. Sell to the people you wish to explore your site. Doing this will result in more "natural" links to your site, and Google will likely respond positively if you've structured it in a manner that their spiders can follow logically.

 

I don't know about the future but link building is still important part of SEO. So, try to make a quality link.

 

Link building can NEVER loose its importance in SEO. Links are an important feedback to search engines by humans that tell SEs what humans like.

The success of a search engine depends upon how well it can adapt to human likings or definition of RELEVANCY.

If you have ever studied AI (Artificial Intelligence) or semantics... you will know how much 'training data' (linkbacks in this case) are important for any intelligent algorithm.
