Will it work, If I buy email lists ?

Hi Friends! Advise me please.

I was thinking to buy email lists for my advertising campaign, but I thought about doing some research on it and found that it does not work. I found a descriptive article here at articlesbase.com which changed my mind and says it does not work at all. Going ahead, I also found some serious discussions at warrior forum in this thread.

So, I decided not to buy email lists, what do you say?
My new decision is good or should I stick to the old one.
If email lists work, then which trusted website is there from where should I rent a list?

IMO,don't buy email list as you cannot 100% verify how the email list is collected.
If you want,you need to build the email list your self to maximize the outcome of your email blast.

 

There are so many fake list of emails and etc. You made the right decision.

 

emails aren't really the best way to reach people. the open rates are not what they appear and people have very little if any success buying a blind list. you'd have better luck building your own list.

 

Also, forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't it illegal to sell a list to someone else (at least against the terms of aweber in the USA). I believe the list will need to opt in once again to the new owner.

Again, don't hold me to this, but this is my understanding.

Anyway, I think you made a good decision.

 

I am agree that email lists will not work even though you have submit it but most email service has filter and will set ur msg as spam. So, you will lose profit and time

 

if you use it you will just get yourself into trouble. Better find some other marketing method that is more likely to give results. This way you will lose time and money. Good luck.

I would also advise you not to buy a list. It's impossible to know how the emails were collected, so you risk spam violations.

 

The idea behind sending Email to users are to targeted audience. If you really want to promote your items, its better to collect Emails from your website or to create some mini niche site related to your products. That way there's a higher chance users will open your Email and less Emails get filtered (with enough people put your Email in "Spam" list the rest of your Emails will never get through).
