Will it make a difference?

    I am using this to refresh some stuff every 5 days:

    < NOW() - INTERVAL 5 DAY

    However, it seems like it doesn't take the exact hours into consideration. It just refreshes everything within 5 days or older.

    Will < NOW() - INTERVAL 120 HOUR do a more accurate job? Will it take the exact hours into consideration?

    Yes it will, 120 hours will start from THIS hour until 120 hours back, opposed to using day which just goes back in days regardless of the hours.

    Thank you, just needed a confirmation. Will run it for the next few days to see how it works.
