quick question here. I visit a PR site acouple of times a day. Ive seen other people post comments in response to stories on the site and some people put their website / blog link at the bottom of their response. Ive checked google and google index's these links. My question is will posting my url at the bottom of my comments help when it comes to building pagerank etc ? also if googles counts the links does google stop counting after a certain number ? ie if I post 800 comments over a few months for example with my url . will all those 800 url links be counted by google ? and count as though I have posted a link on 800 pr 7 sites or does google not count importance the fact I have 800 links from the same site.
No hell, this will build your PR. As long as it's getting indexed. Whenever possible use anchor text in your posts, using some of the words in which your targeting for your site in the search engines. Switch them up when you can, every once in a while. Cheers Davin
what do you mean by anchor text ? usually i and other commenters post as follows "comment , comment , comment yada yada yada yadaya yda -------- www.url.com" Majority of the time the stories are about topics that have nothing to do with my sites topic. it was just that I felt posting url would help in terms of indexing and possibly getting new users >
I think blog that uses nofollow would not pass PR to sites linking to them. But Search Engine count the links as backlinks.
