Will it help if i put signature in other laguage forum?

    My website is english, but if I put me site link in other Chinese forum, will it give me any help?

    The thing is that SE are very notorious to not index forum profile backlinks very fast . I would say , 1 out of 20 links made are indexed and counted as backlink . So there is not so much of an ROI in taking the effort to build these links especially on a forum of a different language since there will be 0 CTR anyway . So the over all scenario does not look like a win win since it is neither helping link building too much nor in getting traffic .

    Not to put a signature in another language because It does not give any advantage to get backlinks and traffic to your site.

    I think you will not get any benefit over there in other language. As no one will be giving replies to you thread neither you will be able to give. So their will be no backlinks for your. Secondly, there is chance that google may consider this as spam.

    It can help a little bit, to get some traffic. Depending on type of forum.

    But generally, in this globalised world most people speak (or understand) English (at some degree) so it does make sense to put English website link even on Non-English website.

    But it wouldn’t make sense at all to put for example Slovak website link on Chinese forum, because chance that Chinese people will understand Slovak language is extremely low.

    But English language that is something completely different … it is "global language".

    And because of this reasons I recommend it! :)

    Firstly you should install google tool bar available translate to english and you can set own signature .

    I have analyzed some competitors backlinks and I realized that this helped in the SERPs. I suggest you use a translator so you can also add value to the forum.

    It might help to generate some traffic and SERP in other language. By the way, the visitor you get might not be targeted enough
    It will be always better if your anchor text / backlink from the same languages site

    No problem, you can still get the backlinks. But your website will be more visible in Google Chinese SERP's than Google.com.
