Hi everyone there are lot of question sites like yahoo answer , google groups where peoples keep asking questions .. now replying them with your url be considered as spam or not ? here is an example ? I need a job in new york ? can anyone help ? or does anyone know any recruitment agencies in new york ? Answer: Yes you can try following link (affiliate link) to get a job in new york ? Now from above case study will it be considered as spam or not ?
It really depends on how you word the reply or whether it is relevant. I would reply to the question "does anyone know any recruitment agencies in new york ?" with something like this.. try to give as much info as possible "I have tried seveal agencies and found most were a waste of time and gave very poor service. Before approaching them make sure you know exactly what you want and you have an upto date cv. The following agency were pretty good. w3.xxxx.com"
In most cases this would be considered as spam! I will tell you why. First off, you cannot just say follow the link and...you have to make an argumentative thesis to why the provided sources by you are the right ones for the OP. Give more than one link or resource so that the reader will have some choice and a strong base to compare different choices. Let's not forget that your post has to be relevant to the topic. Affiliate links are not tolerated as far as I know. You will have to do it differently in case you really want to send the OP to the aff link. For example you could have a blog post dwelling on this topic where this particular link will reside. Then answer the OP in yahoo answers with a well supported and explanatory comment (I'd like to stress on the word comment) which will have a link toy your blog post. That way your comment will be considered of help and you will be regarded as someone who knows a lot on the topic in question, your opinion will be authoritative.
If its in the same niche. They wont consider it is as spam.if its different niche then your account will be suspended.hope this helps.
Spam is based on how much you're submitting. If on every page/question/topic, you reply with one of your sites, then I'd consider it spam, and quite annoying at that... Hell, sounds more like a salesperson than anything else.
I wouldn't class it as spam as long as the website you provided is good and would help 90% of the people in the same boat. If you are just spamming by saying the same thing over and over again like one sentence + link in many different places then yes, it's spam. If you give the person a few tips and then link them to a site then I would not class it as spam.
I think it depends on the words, if you sound like a salesperson then it is a spam I also noticed in yahoo answers that some are just posting the same answers. that one is a blatant spamming.
