The sociopolitical movement here was based on opposing compulsive Hindi. But the politicians here were never against people learning Hindi if they wanted to. These days you can see a lot of people speaking in Hindi, thanks to Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha. :)

its pure politics for both countries

simple india/pakistan citizens don't wonna go to war.they wonna live peacefully

gorilla type strategy is very hard to break down?? how many years have past since india fighting with so called terrorists?? in KASHMIR with such a hugehuge army and highly equipped one as well, why can't they win this battle??? i don't know the answer myself ?? but free fair election is the only solution i think to this issue

Who is the UN to decide that? Who gave them that authority? Elections in Kashmir have always been free and fair. Just because they are different, does not give them a right to secede.

You must know what India is... It is the Land of the Gods...
It is not just a country... It is a nation, birthplace of one of the world's oldest civilizations...

As the person above said, UN has no role in the Kashmir issue. The last few elections in Kashmir have been very fair. The only solution to Kashmir is talking with each other and making the borders of Kashmir fluid(ofcourse after working out the formalities) so that the two sides can freely communicate.

India is not going to let Kashmir go. The time for redrawing the borders is over.

And unlike Pakistan, India is not a Islamist state so the argument of Muslim dominated areas going to pakistan doesn't hold. We have plenty of our Muslim brothers and they are doing very good in India (Bollywood for example :)) They enjoy great freedom. Occasional communal tensions have not destroyed the underlying fabric of brotherhood that exists between the communities, much to the dismay of some. One can actually say that such events were carried out to destroy just that and they failed. What happened in Gujrat(in the train, and after) was bad and wrong and India as a whole condemned it. Our press, society at large did and it was one of the reasons BJP lost the general elections(NDA lost potential secular partners) (I don't mean, however, that it was the only reason why they lost)

    You are right., Vietnam anyone?

Thats why the solution is both sides talking with each other.
