There won't be any cookie set up in that case. So if a customer doesn't buy now, but comes back and buy it later, you won't get a commission.

Also Clickbank doesn't recommend to use that type of hoplink. Use the normal one.

Thanks my friend. I would've never guessed that. Does Clickbank have a flat cookie time for all their affiliate programs? Or does the affiliate program's webmaster set how long the cookie is good for?

It's the same for all products. If I remember right, it's 60 days.

You will get paid, but as blackman said, only for that special sale, if the visitor leaves the page, and come back after some time, you will not make your money, and as i see from my stats, most of my sales are from reapet visitors:)

But what's the different, it looks the same, the hop is there, and that's what people know as an affiliate link, don't try to be smarter, just bring regular traffic, that don't knows what is an affiliate link, use niches that don't related to internet marketing, or affiliate marketing, and you're on your way to success.

    Cheers:)

You will be much better off using a hoplink as it places the cookie as others have said. Otherwise your money will be going to the guy that is able to close the sale :)
