    No you will not need a Paypal account to be Amazon affiliate.

    Amazon is paying it is referals commission payment through cheque and not to Paypal accounts.

    Paypal is not an option. You can either receive payment via direct deposit (no fee, at least in the US), check, or Amazon gift card.

    Direct deposit is incredibly convenient.

    I use direct deposit, and it's faster and easier. Set it up to an online savings account.

    yes also , what the reason you willing to get a paypal account as amazon not support it also , its against Paypal TOS , to buy sell accounts.
