Hi I intend to change my web hosting account and I wonder if i will loose my Google ranking/link juices that i have earned if i were to copy my files from host A to host B?
it depends on you, do it as fast as you can and don't let google sees your domain without content. It will be de-indexed for several times till nex google update. That's my experience
downtime is a major factor for any effect if at all. plan it ahead so you have minimum downtime. otherwise there should not be a problem.
It will definitely not affect your ranking...so long as Google is able to see a new host within as short a time as possible. Take Care, loksch
People are talking about the server location playing a role in SEO.. But I cannot confirm anything, I'm just saying =) Let us know what happens
You need to make sure that when you transfer your site doesn't go down for long at all. If this is the case your ranking will not be effected at all however if your site is down for a while your ranking may take a knock!
Like others have said, the faster the move to the new host the better. But even if the move is slow, google will eventually recache your site.
