will i loose pr if i buy a domain?

    I want to buy a domain with pr but i am afraid that thepr will be gone in a month or so. What do you think?

    Normally your PR will gone slowly and your SERP will gone unless you get the all website
    However, it still provide abit advantage if the domain you buy and use in the same niche as previous website

    If it has (had) PR, it will have links and maybe traffic. If it's relevant, you should give it a try for the low cost of the experiment.

    I have some PR blogs from a free hosted blog before and when I buy domain and place more unique and interesting content for it then I gain back my PR so its possible that it will gone but with hardwork you can have your PR back when you buy domain but its a gamble

    You should try it out. Once you get the domain try adding more unique and informative content, that way you will get more PR when it starts going down..

    If you are planning to buy a domain with the PR, you should check how long the site or the blog HAS NOT been updated or posted any article.... Also check what kind of material was posted earlier on this domain? Remember while buying domain, dont just check if the PR is genuine or not, go to the site, for example :checkpagerank.net and check all the details.

    After yo have bought the domain, try to fill in the damage which was done to the site or blog. What I mean to say is, start posting some articles right away or creating some pages. Then bookmark those articles exactly after 24 hours of posting the article. Find out for what keyword the site was ranking in google and continue to do the keyword marketing. Build some good, strong backlinks for the site.

    Infact, remember the most important thing, if you are buying a domain with PR, this DOESNOT mean that you dont have to do any SEO or any link building planning for it. Yes the work will be reduced to 50% as you have already bought a domain with PR, however you have to continue the work and implement it properly to maintain its PR, which is not easy ;)
