will i loose my google position if i change from wordpress to a landing page

I have a blog and I want to redirect the domain to a simple landing page.
Question is will i loose my google position if I do that as a few of the posts on the blog rank high in google.

 

if you redirect the domain to a different domain, you will lose all the backlinks that point to it. However if you are just changing the landing page or redesigning it, then there's no problem

 

Yes. It will.. but it takes some time.. if you are lucky .. it takes months for this to happen

 

you probably would, although initially you keep your rankings, google will figure it out sooner or later and then you drop

 

Redirecting will pass PR juice, but I think your SERP will be affected.

 

thanks for the replies. What I plan on doing is changing the site from being a wordpress blog to a simple landing page. So it would be the same domain just different index page on the site.
A few of the posts on the blog have keywords that are top ten in google, would I loose those from google?
Also what if that index page was a simple php redirect page to another site?
