Will I get problems with google if I get 100 PR 5 backlinks within 3 days ?

If the site is new
If you are getting it all of a sudden without previous link history.
If it is off topic website

NO
If you are old website
Your website has been getting that much or lesser links from time to time

 

The danger is the all-at-once nature of the 100 PR5 links. There's no way you'll be getting those "naturally". If we know that, Google does, too. They have gotten pretty defensive lately about paid links.

 

I dont think so. I have one friend who had a habit to buy PR links. He used to buy hundreds of links to his new site and he never had any problem. i have not tried though but i dont think you should have nay soughts of problem.

 

I own a Dating website, and if I want to be in the top5 in search engines would it be oke if I bought high PR Backlinks ?

Isn't backlinks the most important thing you need to rank higher in Google search ?

Or is high PR backlinks not enough to get me to the top ?

Why only top 5 ? you can outrank any site if you do it properly.
Instead of getting high pr links opt for contextual text links which are related to dating theme. Try to get as many of those. PR is an outdated thing which has no or very low significance these days.

I can say guaranteed take my words you can beat a PR5 with pr1 with good quality text links.

And instead I should get only backlinks from websites that are relevant to dating ?

what happends if I get 500 high PR and 2000 low PR backlinks from websites that are NOT relevant to my website.
Is that still good ?

Or do they all need to be relevant ?

Pr is not an outdated thing.It provides a shield to old optimized websites from ever popping start ups.

 

If its hard then why don't you post articles to many sites. Keep doing it, if you cant do it then outsource it.
A backlink is always good even if its not related. For instance a blog comment on unrelated site.

What i am trying to say is google gives good weight for links if you have it on a same topic.Rankings are not based on PR but on quality of links and how much diversify you have in your link building profile. Some time ago PR was a big factor but currently you should it isn't.
It is not compulsory that you should get relevant links with keyword in anchor text as link.

You should do guest posts,write articles and distribute it to many article directories. Create web 2.0 profiles, try link wheels. etc you can do a lot of thinks mate.

 

People should know one thing,
If a site has a PR6 and 20k quality backlinks.

What do you think why the site should rank for ?
PR6 or Army oF quality links

In this scenario the site ranks not because of the PR6 but due to the quality of links.Also it would be difficult to defeat this site with ease because the site has good links and not because of PR.

Same scenario but a twist.

A site with PR6 but with only 100links ( even two pr7 links can make a site pr6)
You can beat this site with some quality contextual links, because this site doesn't have the quality link profile.PR^ is not enough at all.

PR is just a value and does not means that you won the game. Google is king just because you cannot easily manipulate their search results.

SO think just before saying PR IS this and PR is that.

A website with a page rank if goes on a link building spree will perform better than a no pr but links only..

 

Honestly, it depends 100% on the age of your site.

 

Google will not notice all these links on the same day. It will take time for Google to notice all these links, so it will not know that they were all acquired on the same day.

Also, links to your site will never "hurt" your site. Otherwise, one of your competitors could acquire 100 links to your site on spam sites and bad neighborhoods. Google would then notice that these links look unnatural and were likely purchased.

Google would not punish you, they would simply discount the links. These links would neither hurt you nor harm you.

So your biggest biggest risk is that Google would simply not give you any credit for these links (if they look extremely suspicious). Can you live with that?

 

I would spread the 100 backlinks over 6 weeks that way it looks natural, better to be safe the sorry.
