Well, We are under massive ddos attack, and have been for about 4 days now. We are using a Gige server through blockdos.net which creates a "click here to enter" screen before the first page you try accessing load at our site. Once click the system whitelists your ip. My site is http://www.talkgold.com

The problem is Google bots do not click, so not only can they not access the site for a few days, but they also will probably be crawling and indexing the "click here" page for every single page they try going to.

Will this kill our google rank, and what if anything could be done.

We are trying to whitelist all the search bot ips but its not as easy as you may think.

    Any suggestions?

Bots can follow links. If it is passworded or something, then google won't be able to follow it. Bots will follow normal links.

Well there are no bots at my forum since we did this, and there are usually hundreds. You can see how it work just by going to the site http://www.talkgold.com.

Have you submitted site maps? That could be the reason. I still don't think that there should be a problem. You should wait it out and see what happens.

I think bots will follow the links after all but they will take more time to index your site pages if they indexed the right content.

No I have not submitted site maps in a long time. And I still see no bots at the page so I assume they are not indexing it.
