will i get penalized for submitting sitemaps regularly

    will i get into trouble if i update my sitemap and submit it to google regularly say around twice a day? Submitting a sitemap would mean forcing the google bot to crawl my website and i am afraid that i might get penalized if i constantly do it...

    By submiting a sitemap your are not forcing googlebot to crawl more often, you are just giving it some directions :). Update your sitmap as often as you want - you wont get penalised!

    It's best to just submit a sitemap when something changes on your site. You might not get penalized by submitting it twice a day, but you're probably not gaining anything either.

    Submitting sitemaps will bring no harm.
