Will I get penalized by Google if I rewrite all my content?

    I agree with the above.You won't be penalized if you rewrite your content. Most of the content on the web is re-written anyways. Not much is original anymore:D

    Maybe I didn't explain good enough, I will remove the current content and add new fresh content. Of course,
    a few articles will be similar to the old ones.

    I agree with you, writing for the visitors should be prioritized. Though, I don't get where you get the "garbage experience"
    from. The site content will be redesigned once and more quality content will be added. This will benefit the visitors, and to
    be on the safe side I thought I'd check what Google will do.

    No, if you rewrite the content in such a way that Google will not look at it as duplicate content. If you merely copy the content, you may get a red flag from Google.

    You won't get penalized, however keep in mind you will lose ranking as you are changing the content which got you the ranks so google will make the changes accordingly.

    I don't think you will get penalised, depending on how good your rewrites, Google may see them as updated fresh content

    no problom if you rewrite it, but the problem is come if you copy paste the content from other site on your site...
