Will I get banned from DP?

if my room mate registers a new account? do they go by ip or by email?

 

Might be a good idea to run it past one of the Mods..

me and my gf are in the same room on 2 comouters but we dont get banned

 

i dont think that should happen... although, to be on a safer side, seek permission from an admin or a mod!

 

if dp doesnt ban accounts by ip , then how will they be able to figure out people with multiple accounts ??

 

It's probably best to ask the mods, but from past questions like this I read it's ok as long as you two don't bump each others threads.

 

You should PM the mods your friend username and email.

 

DP did not ban any members, if they post in rules and regulations of that forum.

 

Why the same IP could be a problem? How many people use the same IP>?

 

I know of a guy who got banned for having more than 1 ids. Better seek advice from Mods.

 

I thought that was only a problem if you got banned and signed up for a new account. To stay on the safe side ask an mod.

 

So there is a white list of users who log in with the same IP ?

 

I know of a few on here who have siblings. Katy is a mod and has stated it was ok as long as you let them know. That should cover the question !

I think its okay to have a account with same ip.
