No, I will not agree. HP brand items are always best. Recently My friend purchased one HP laptop. It's working fine. My another friend using HP laptop from 4 years. He did not find any problems.

In my opinion Dell is better than Hp in comparison of Durability and Performance. It has best models according to your need an you can also customize Dell laptops as per your need just like assemble Systems.

    Thanks

I own a 6 month old NoteBook now!
Any how it gets heated but i mostly use it as Desktop since i selected 15.6" Screen Size for Multimedia
It will be running 18 Hours a day but seems its stable! :)
i will be using a Cooling Pad for that to get rid of heat :)

i fell dell performance is much better! but all still depends on the specification of components inside the laptop, such as processor and RAM

    I use both of them.
In same price, Dell hardware material is better and have longer lifetime.

HP after sales services and parts quality are not good as compared to Dell. I think Dell is better than HP in every aspect you want to compare.

I also had Display problem when I updated BIOS of my Dell Laptop and Dell Support asked me whopping Rs. 15,000 to replace the Motherboard when the BIOS update they released had major Bug in it. But I was lucky to over-write Display setting of BIOS with Windows Display setting. I suggest HP Laptop which are much cheaper than Dell and they have much better support than Dell.

Look at the specs: most of the parts are identical.

I would go for HP, if i had to choose between Hp and Dell, this is mainly because i find HP service to be more helpful, and supportive for my laptop. Haven't tried Dell laptop though.
