Will hosting a network sites with one IP address have a negative effect on SEO?

We operate a network of sites which are served from a cluster of servers. These all have one IP address for the outside world. Is this a problem for SEO if all of the sites are interlinked? Will the spider see the interlinking as spammy? If so, what is the best course of action? All advice very very welcome.

Interlinking all sites on the same IP or Class C segment will do little good, google looks for network ID patterns and dilutes such links.
