does being homosexual make you any greater of a sinner than anyone else? If so, who says what sin is greater than another? Or all they all equal? I am a member of a church that although it says homosexuality is not right, they are still children of God and still welcomed at the communion table. In the end, we are not the ones that that person has to hold account to.

I don't think Muslims understand the saying "love the sinner and hate the sin". I sin, my friends sin. That doesn't mean I hate them or myself. It simply means NOT condemning anyone. Unlike Muslim leaders who believe in beheading gays.

Are you even thinking about what you are saying? You're lumping in everyone that is gay into one group and then saying "maybe they did another crime"? We get it, you think being gay is wrong, but thankfully we live in a society where people aren't stoned or killed for being homosexual. 50 years ago "they" used to lynch black people because of the color of their skin.

And don't use the Bible as a defence for wanting to discriminate against gays. The Bible is pro-slavery and even asks for your enemies women and children to be killed. You don't see mainstream Christians owning slaves or killing the kids from other churches, do you?

You're absolutely right. Some gay people do take offence to being called homos as well as when straight guys use the word "gay" when they want to put down or call something weird. It can be just as mean and hurtful as using the word nigger. Just because you're straight and think it's not an explosive word doesn't actually mean that it isn't. qwest doesn't seem to realize that.
