I have read on internet that, If we have link under high PR domain, page that is very useful and will help to increase our SERP without anyother ways. Is that true? For an example, Is it true? Does google give more points and bring a site to top for keyword search?
yes and no. A large part of the Google algorithm is based on backlinks, and getting backlinks from high PR pages does help a site in serps. BUT - to be of optimum value the links should come from a high PR page that is in the same or a related niche to your site. Note also that I'm saying high PageRank PAGE. A site may have high PageRank, but the page that your profile is on typically doesn't. Furthermore, many sites nofollow links of this sort, precisely so they don't get people just creating profiles for a backlink.
If Google is able to crawl your profile page then you will definitely get a backlink if a link is present on the profile page. But the PR of your profile page and the dating website homepage would not be same. You will not get the PR juice in this case. If a high PR website is relevant to your website then a backlink from such website would surely boost your website ranking in search engines. Focus on getting backlinks from relevant websites.
High PR Links Should you purchase high PR links or buy many lower PR links? We get this question all the time. The answer is the same as with all text link ad questions - it depends. It depends on several factors like your site's age, current backlinks, industry, and page relevancy. If you have a brand new site, early on you are probably better off buying relevant lower PR links at a steady rate each month rather than buy one super strong link to a brand new site. Why? A brand new site is very unlikely to get links from PR8 plus websites. It just doesn't look natural and may raise a flag with the search engines. However, if your site is somewhat established and you have plenty of backlinks, a few high PR links can put you over the top for your keyword phrases. High PR Links to Get Spidered New or old website, one thing purchasing a high PR link will do for your site is get it spidered quickly and deeply. So it might be worth it to buy a high PR link for a few months to get your site more fully indexed. In this case, one nice PR9 will do the trick. Unless you're loaded with cash, you don't want two or three PR9s pointing at a new site to get indexed - use that money to buy 20 or 30 low PR links (preferably contextual links) each month. High PR Links as a Last Resort There is one other scenario where I would recommend buying high PR text links: If you have a quality website that is doing nothing in the SERPs it might be worth a shot to buy a bunch of high PR links to see if you can 'prime the well' and get your site ranked. If your website is not ranking, you really have nothing to lose and 3 or 4 high PR links might get your website out of the Google sandbox. If it doesn't work, well, you still have the bad rankings you always had so no real harm done (except to your wallet). Remember, LinkAdage always recommends that link buyers should not focus entirely on PR. Link smart and link natural - get a few nice PR links and then shoot for totally relevant contextual links for the most success. Google loves long term relevant links, and in the end, they will most likely help you much more than a bunch of random high PR text links. If the page where your link is at it is indexed, cached, and relevant, it is a very valuable website link.
Yes it it helpful. One thing is for sure. Your PR will increase. Second point here is - We cannot say for sure that your serps will be high. It all depends on the niche and competition. Depending on this, serps will move high. But if you get high PR related website link, it is awesome.... Sam
in ideal situation, a high PR site is a site that gained lot of backlinks form relevant sites. other sites found that site resourceful for which they linked to it so it gained certain level of authority and credibility with google. so getting a link back form that kind of site will certainly help you in your ranking and that what you should shoot for. however, there are hight PR sites that are irrelevant to your niche and those sites might have bought whole bunch of irrelevant PR backlinks to gain their PR. in this situation, you wil lnot get much help with serp ranking but it will certainly give you a PR boost
Yes it is, I've done this before at it works well, but for it to be effective you'll need to create 100s of profiles from 100s of high pr sites. Tips... ==> Usually on these sites you can post comments and the name you signed up with is linked to your profile, which is where your link will be. So what I done, for each profile site I'd post 2-3 comments, this will help the Google bots find your links and index the profiles. ==> For the sites that allow you to post anchored links in the "about me" section create a paragraph of content on topic with the anchor text your linking out with. That way you'll get a nice highly relevant backlink. And don't worry about duplicate content, just use the same content, It'll still get indexed and the link will still count. ==> Finding these high pr sites is a real pain, so here's a good place to start. http://www.goarticles.com/cgi-bin/showa.cgi?C=1151743 you'll find some real gold there, run that url though backlinkwatch and you'll find 100s of these profile sites. Good luck. -Jay.
