Will High CTR Get You Banned?

This has been a qoustion in my mind for a while now, Does Google ban people due to a jump in their CTR i.e ( 1%- 10% in a day) Or do they ban people for just having invalid clicks. With Google's "Anti-ClickFraud" system invalid clicks dont credit to your account. So whats the need to ban people?

    Someone Please Clarify:)

They ban you if you get that high CTR by cheating, but if it just jumps because you are smart enough to grow faster ... you are in the safe side ;)

Sometimes, too high CTR is dangerous no mater what. Google of course will compare your type of site to other similiar sites first. Certain industry has up to 40% CTR without any problem.

Anyway, you can never be sure.

depends on the numbers and whether its suspicious

Its easy enough to detect click fraud. They will have a watch list identifying proxies/cheaters/multiple clicks.

I don't think that Google will ban you if your CTR goes from 1% to 10% if the jump in CTR was not caused by click fraud

You can always report any unusual activity in your account (like when I got a 300% CTR one day) to Adsense support just to be on the safe side.

Once your CTR crosses 10%, your account will be personally monitored by AdSense Engineers ..

    That's how it works

it depends upon the ip address you are receiving clicks. if you are receiving clicks from few ip address you will be likely banned. but if you are getting clicks from various ip addresses then no problem :)
