Will "hiding" Links Penalize The Link Or My Site?

I am the leader of a small football club in my country and we are part of a large organization that includes a lot of bigger clubs (soccer, handball, etc.). We have a website that has great authority, and we have access to one part of it. Now, I wanted to sponsor our team by buying links to some of my site, the problem is that these are gambling websites, and Im not sure if the board would approve of such links.

I am not interested in visitor clicks and are mostly looking for the sitewide link to my site, but would there be any way to hide the link, so that you cannot click it, but still receive the link juice it produces. Will google look down upon this practice, or is there a way I could do this without angering them and hiding the link the best way?
