Will having an image linking to you incres page rank?

    My site was featured on some CSS design sites but they link the image and not the Title of my site - so will this help in page rank at all? with and without alt text

    all links help, especially one way links. having them put an alt and title tag in the image would help since the search engine will have keywords to associate that link with.

    If the link isn't NoFollowed it will flow PR and so just how much it will help depends on the PR of the page that the link is on.

    Don't worry about linking the title of your site - it's perfectly natural to have some links without anchor text so all's good.
